Please DO NOT ORDER from here!! We ordered 2 orders of String Beans and Singapore Noodles. There were only a few sting beans, the rest were onion and bell peppers. The noodles was tasteless even soy sauce didn't help. Very very disappointed.

I love their Hot and Sour Soup. Also very good: Eggplant in Garlic Sauce and Crab Rangoon Delivery is very fast. They always provide plastic silverware, plenty of sauces, napkins and fortune cookies. They have never messed up any of my orders and I visit on a regular basis. People seem to have unrealistic expectations for quick/cheap Chinese food, but this is just as good as any other, and convenient if you live in SoBe. Staff has always been friendly to me. Parking is the only problem.

They got me with the Crab Rangoon and the Teriyaki Chicken. We've never had an issue with our order and the food has always been consistently great. We frequent this little place because the owners are sweet, hard working people and the food has never let us down. We love this place!

I've been eating here for many years. The folks that own it are very nice and the food is always excellent. I was very surprised by the negative reviews, in all my years eating at China Moon they have never messed up an order or been rude. As far as Chinese take out goes on the beach I think it is one of the best!

We came to this place and had steamed eggplants sezuan style with the sauce on the side and brown rice. The food came just minutes later and it was PERFECT! The place was clean and the Service very good. We have had a lot of chinese eggplants but these were one of the best ever!

I went for Chinese Food and that's exactly what I got. It was cheap, and not of great quality. The food itself was 1-2 stars, but the lady was so nice that she earned an A-OK. I ordered the Orange Chicken and asked it to be "not" so spicey. She happily complied, and even served me as I sat outside waiting for my order. The place is very small, with one table and two chairs inside and a few tables and chairs outside. I got a fortune cookie and she told me she'd give me some more white rice if I'd like. I told her no onions, leeks or scallions and she made sure there was none. I even got a fortune cookie with my order. My Orange Chicken itself tasted pasty, like you could still taste the flour from the coating. And there was very little orange flavor at all. Nevertheless, I got some cheap chinese, quickly and with nice service. I definitely got what I paid for but would not order the same again :) The place seems pretty busy so I would definitely try something else if I felt the urge for Chinese again!

From ok to worse. Messed up order, gave us veggies we ask NOT to include, but would not fix it until I insisted, 3 telephone calls and 2 hrs later. Someone spilled the soy sauce bottle on all our orders. AND I like soy sauce but this was ridiculous. Oh, there is plenty of MSG too. Pan fried noodles are not pan fried, more like soupy lo mien. They fill all the orders with as many onions as possible, there must have been a sale at the market. Hire someone who can speak English and it will benefit your biz, really, believe it or not! Duh. No more, never again, peanut butter and jelly never looked so good.

We live in Sobe and this is a decent take-out Chinese places. Other places we've tried we're not as good. Good crab Rangoon. For the price and standard Chinese, it hits the spot.

Horrible food, rude service, the customer is never right... messed up order. Left stuff out and then insisted on the phone that I had the item... refused to stop insisting that I had it... which I clearly didn't. Bad bad bad. And I'm not a chinese food gourmand... but I know bad, old, greasy food when i taste it.

I have ordered here in the past, and the food is not consistant, but at times, it is good. I went to make an order tonight for delivery, and I asked for some extra packets of duck sauce. The lady who took my order speaks very poor english, and is hard to understand, She told me I would be charged $2 for 5 packs of duck sauce. I told her that was bad business, but you could tell she didn't care. I cancelled my order and went with another chinese restaurant in South Beach. I wonder what the owner would say, if they found out, that the customer were being charged for additional packets of duck sauce? Is it worth losing a customer? As an employee of a hotel, I will not be passing ths menu onto anyone.

Ordering is a nightmare but their fast and the food is not bad for South Beach Chinese, which normally is horrible.

Fellow ny'ers will understand, had the vibe of ghetto Chinese but was truly disappointed! Seemed more like a Panda Express with out flavor! Hey if you are into that so be it! Ordered, egg rolls came with nasty sweet & sour sauce as well the spicy mustard was for an older clientele with a need for salt and blandness! Boneless spare ribs were chunks of pork! Not spare ribs I ordered the Sesame chicken, the man asked if I wanted extra spicy, I answered yes! It was a bland salt bomb of a meal! Again perhaps people are used to bland saltiness! Me...nope will stick to flying to NYC for my ghetto Chinese experience! Cheers

I order from China Moon at least once or twice a month. Their food is consistently hot fresh and flavorful. I always get the steamed or fried pork dumplings are always delcious. I usually order a combination plate such as bourbon chicken, general cheng or teriyaki beef. It is always well seasoned and their rice I is actual fried rice! It is not that steamed stuff other places try to pass as FR. I order delivery and my egg roll is so hot I have to wait a few minutes to eat it. The wonton soup is not chintzy like some other places either. The wontons are thin and taste fresh and the dollops of meat filling is huge about the size of a large marble. This is the first time I ever left a food review as I think this place is getting a bad rap and undeservedly so. You need to take reviews with a grain of salt and think about the mind frames and people who leave them. I believe this is a mom and pop business and they are always polite and coureteous from order to delivery.

Ive had it twice and I like it very much. Last time I had the honey chicken and this time the sesame chicken with special fried rice which is sOoOoo much better than Sum yums. The eggrolls are also good. The eggdrop soup is a bit weird but not bad. Wonton soup Yum. I have always gotten it delivered so I do not know what the place even looks like. Delivery was super fast both times. Oh and the price is so ridiculously low my boss and I had two lunch specials and sodas and it came out to like $13.They seem to always mess something up though like giving me the wrong soup or not putting in forks so make sure you have them repeat the order to you and that they will not forget soy sauce or forks lol.

Sorry but we've tried much better Chinese food. I placed an order for delivery and it arrived on a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered Chicken Fried Rice and I had the Chicken with Chinese Vegetables. We also got an order of Veggie Egg Roll. When it comes to Chinese food, we dont expect world class take out but I believe by any reasonable standard, this place will disappoint. Needless to say, it was not an enjoyable meal. We will never ordered from there again. PRO nothing CON food was not good

Would have given this place 2 stars had I reviewed it 6 months ago. However, my time in South Beach has made me more appreciative of any honest effort at decent Chinese food, and this place offers it at a very reasonable price. I have only ordered take-outs and deliveries, as their store front is literally a hole in the wall. Fried items tend to be too greasy, but their General Cheng's Chicken (a fake oriental flavor that I find surprisingly tasty) and pork with Chinese veggies, together with a healthy side of warm, steamed rice, conjures potent speckles of childhood memories. This place is on my "decent meal fast" list.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
